Tahra continue their Hermann Scherchen crusade with a noble, broadly paced 1949 recording of Bach’s The Art of Fugue (Radio Beromünster Orchestra) in Roger Vuataz’s orchestration, coupled with a first release of Schoenberg’s Op. 31 Variations for Orchestra as recorded in 1953 with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
